@Vegas
role: sr. social content strategist client: las vegas convention and visitors authority
As the Senior Social Strategist overseeing the iconic @Vegas social media accounts, I knew I wanted to make my mark. The city of Las Vegas was finally coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, tentatively, and we wanted to show that over social media. While static photos and pre-crafted videos performed exponentially for the brand, I wanted to tell more immediate stories. Drawing on my experience as a Social Content Producer at MGM, I pitched live coverage of a reopening Bellagio Cirque Du Soliel show.
Armed with only my iPhone and a content creator, we tore through the halls of Bellagio capturing the magical parade of characters and the cheering fans and staff of the casino. Standing in the lobby, I edited the story and posted it live - wanted to make sure ours made it out before the local paper. My work paid off - story views soared from 185,000 to 355,000 in 30 days.
Live coverage was back online.

On top of running around Las Vegas filming content, I oversaw the social media managers content calendar creations and community management. I worked across the agency with creative teams, client partnerships and strategy to develop meaningful and data-driven social strategies.
